Welcome to our Nungwi boutique hotel, just steps from the Indian Ocean. Zanzicrown has familiar look, but at the same time with attention to detail and designed for the comfort of its guests. Each room is furnished with elegance and refinement. The different common areas and the tropical garden are the ideal place to relax, without forgetting our panoramic terrace!

Zanzicrown boutique hotel is committed to helping the community by supporting local crafts, financing small projects and distributing clothing and school supplies in the villages… Don’t forget to leave some space in your suitcase for some clothes to donate, notebooks and pens… The local community and all the staff will be very grateful!

The hotel rooms, all spacious, are characterized by rich, refined and sometimes exclusive furnishings. The rooms are equipped with all comforts, however we offer different types of accommodation to meet the needs of all our guests. For camping lovers we also give the possibility to stay overnight in a tent in our garden and use the adjacent public bathroom at the price of 10 usd per person per day, breakfast included.

Relatively small, the island of Zanzibar instead offers an infinity of excursions, activities and attractions. From diving to kitesurfing, from colorful markets to the discovery of the centuries-old city of Stone Town, up to the search for the typical red monkey in the Josani forest or the giant tortoises on the island of prisons. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of its sandbanks, the scent of spice plantations and the mysterious underground caves!

Zanzicrown Hotel is also located just 10 minutes walk from the renowned “marine aquariums” of Mnarani and Baraka where you can visit the sea turtles and swim with them.

Nungwi, located exactly north of Zanzibar, it is one of the most famous beaches thanks to its unmistakable beauty! Here the effect of the tides is considerably reduced compared to the rest of the island, making the area always suitable for swimming. The background of the hotel is the characteristic fishing village with its typical boats. The property is located exactly in the middle of Nungwi, from which all that remains is to choose whether to head towards the lively west part (in the direction of Kendwa beach, easily reachable on foot) or towards the more reserved and scenic east area extends to and beyond the lighthouse.

You can reach us by taxi from any point on the island or by local bus nr. 116 (departing from the city of Stone Town).

Tourists from Tanzania can reach the island via domestic flight or ferry departing from Dar es Salaam.
